Research

Extensive research conducted in Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal and Spain to effectively identify the needs, opportunities but also constraints in NGO founding and management in order to ensure all project outputs and goals remain relevant and effective.

Training

Train the Trainer – Adult Educators

A thorough induction and training process will be conducted for selected adult educators who will have a key role to play in the innovative immersion and mentoring framework component of the project. The training will ensure those taking on the role of trainers/mentors, deliver quality education. The training will predominantly be in an e-learning format, based on electronic resources and focus on pedagogical methods, communication , risk management, conflict resolution and more.

Online platform and observatory

A unique online observatory of NGOs as a showcase for successful cases of green and social entrepreneurship in each partner country. The showcase will serve as NGO leadership motivational role models to inspire new NGO leaders. In addition, it will also provide a range of on-line environments and forums where NGO leaders/staff members can exchange ideas and practices with their peers in partner countries, collaborate on potential joint ventures and support each other.

E-learning Platform

An open learning resource which will include the following modules:

• Introducing leadership;
• introducing green and social entrepreneurship;
• creative thinking, initiative, self-confidence;          
• idea generation and evaluation;
• testing and prototyping the idea;
• communications and outreach;
• funding mechanism.

Engagement Toolkit

A set of audience specific communication pieces that can be downloaded and used by any interested parties across Europe (and potentially other countries) in addition to other outputs to engage in the project’s philosophy and gather participants globally. 

Audiovisual Instructive Package

The Audiovisual Instructive Package is a set of 5 audiovisual resources in the form of 3 minute video and animation designed to compliment  the Induction to Pedagogy for NGO staff, the NGO immersion program and the training course. The videos include snippets of the projects progression and showcasing of high performance NGO’s which are also contributing to solving environmental issues. Is this

Survival Guide 

An excellent up-to-date resource as a starting point providing tailored support to new and potential NGO leaders. The Survival Guide for NGO Founding and Funding will consist of a step-by-step guide explaining all the legal and practical requirements required to found and manage an NGO. The guide will also include access to important ‘survival’ tips provided by experience leaders.
